About Team Matumaini - Tackling Youth UnemploymentTeam Matumaini is apart of a larger program called Our Vision Your Decision. Our Vision Your Decision consists of 20 students from the USA, and 20 students from Kenya, collaborating to try and raise awareness on Kenyan Poverty issues using social media. This is being put together by NC4GE Bardoli Global Scholar Program by sending United States high school students to Kenya. Matumaini means hope in Swahili, so our mission is to create hope and prosperity to Kenya. Team Matumaini is raising awareness on youth unemployment in Kenya because we feel that if the the youth are employed, then Kenya could grow into a better and more prosperous county in the near future. Our Vision Your Decision/Team Matumaini is an non-profit organization and is open to donations contributing to our cause. Thank you. |
