About Plant Taxonomy
Learning/knowing names of plants, binomial, colloquial, any and all. Please have either a clear picture of a prominent plant, or add notes to each plant featured along with their binomial.
If you don\'t know what a binomial is, it\'s the two-part latin name for the plant. For example, Sugar Maple is: Acer sucrum. Family information is great, too.
Add all names, colloquial, binomial, familial, etc, to the tags of the image.
Description is your call, add information about the plant, description, uses, anything you like.
This is loosely ethnobotanical in aspiration, so please don\'t feel too restricted.
