About Tasmanian Engineering 2012
A " Tasmanian Engineering " Photo Competition has been established as part of Engineers Australia Tasmania Division’s activities for the Year of the Regional Engineering Team (YoRET).
Photographers and those appreciative of engineering in its many forms are encouraged to celebrate, inspire and share photos that capture the theme of "Tasmanian Engineering".
When contributing a photo to the group, make sure to include one of the following tags: "North", "South", or "North West" so that photos can be selected from each region (particularly for judging).
The images in the group will be reviewed on 30 June 2012 to select "winning" images that will be used during Australian Engineering Week in August 2012 to engage and inspire the public about engineering in Tasmania.

The Year of the Regional Engineering Team will seek to:
* improve access to CPD for regionally based members;
* increase awareness of engineering opportunities in regional areas;
* promote equity for all members of Engineers Australia; and
* generate an understanding of the value of the regional engineering team.
