About Tasmanian vegetation and landscape change rephotography
This “citizen science” group aims to collate “then and now” images of Tasmanian landscapes to illustrate changes over time. Repeat photography (or rephotography) is a powerful tool for documenting changes in vegetation and other features on time scales from several years to over a century.
This group will host old images (from scanned slides or prints) which we encourage you to rephotograph and submit to the group. We will also post collages of pairs or time series of images of Tasmanian landscapes.
This is not a pool for any just old photographs of Tasmania, what we are seeking are images that are relocatable and informative of landscape changes.
