About 2008 Tanglewood Photo Contest

The deadline for submitting your photo to the the Flickr Contest will end tonight, September 5. Thanks to all who have participated! The winner of the contest will be announced on or before September 30. This has been a great contest and the beauty of Tanglewood has been captured in so many ways it will be a tough call for the judges!

Post your photos that capture the beauty and fun of your visit(s) to Tanglewood. Share your images with friends and other concert-goers who visit the Boston Symphony's summer home in Lenox, MA. Write about your experience visiting Tanglewood during the 2008 Season!
Submit your favorite 2008 Tanglewood photo(s) on Flickr.com, and enter to win a Tanglewood weekend getaway for two in 2009. Plus we'll use your image in the 2009 Tanglewood season brochure!
2009 Tanglewood Weekend Getaway includes accommodations for two people for two-night stay at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge plus a pair of Shed tickets to Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon BSO concerts. (Based on availability.) Please visit the Tanglewood photo contest page for more details.
Contest will end the weekend of the Tanglewood Jazz Festival, August 30-31. Deadline for submitting photo is September 5!
Rules and Regulations:
1). The photo MUST be taken on the Tanglewood Grounds and uploaded to Tanglewood's Flickr™ group and tagged Tanglewood08-contest.
2). Submit up to 5 images.
3). You must include where the photo was taken (the concert or event you attended, date etc.)
4). The contest is only open to non-professional photographers. Anyone making more than 50% of their income from photography is considered a professional.
5). The photo must be your own and not something you found on the internet.
6). Photographs will be judged by a panel including professional designers and editors.
7). All photographs will remain the copyright of the photographer. However, by entering the contest, you hereby grant to the Boston Symphony a royalty-free license to reproduce, distribute, and publicly display your photographs through print and electronic media. By submitting work, you also accept that the BSO can crop and correct your images to make them suitable for projection.
8). Contest will end the weekend of the Tanglewood Jazz Festival, August 30-31. Deadline for submitting photo is September 5. The winner will be announced on or before September 30. The winner will be notified through the contact methods available in the winner's Flickr™ profile.
9). The Boston Symphony reserves the right to upload photos to its public group on Flickr™.
10). Contest is not open to Orchestra members of the Boston Symphony and employees of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
