Oh cool!
Does anyone have a preference to a specific day or time? I was thinking that we could either meet early evening (after work for most) or on a weekend day.
Another idea is that this Sunday Goonie328 and I were planning on doing a stroll around Ybor City. If it's not too short on notice maybe we can meet for a photostroll.
If anyone is up for going we can pick a time and location (like at the Starbucks at Center Ybor or something). Whataya think?

I'm never a morning person (although I'm much better with them being down here). Maybe in the afternoon around 2 or 3 would be good. I'll speak to Goonie this evening and see what he thinks as well.

I can't do this week b/c of work. Week nights are usually OK though.
Keep in mind that this weekend is Gasparilla. Could be good (photo ops) or bad (really crowded).

Oh yeah thats right I had forgotten about Gasparilla this weekend. I am planning on being out and about on Saturday getting pictures of the Parade and general festivities. Generally Monday and Wed are bad for me but other than that weeknights would be cool with me.

I can't do Sunday precisely because of Gasparilla. I live in South Tampa and get stuck with the Gasparilla traffic. Gasparilla and Airfest are the two that make it so I can't get out of my neighborhood. Nights and weekends are usually good for me though.

How does Friday, February 3rd, (early evening) or Saturday the 4th (during the day) sound?
I'm tentatively flying back to NY that Sunday and may stay for a couple of weeks or a couple of days depending on if I've been offered/take a job here.
dshalock - we will be going to Gasparilla on Saturday, in the evening. I'll email you here with my digits if you want to meet up at some point.
on a side note:
Thanks for your comments on my pics. I feel bad for not having visited your photo streams much just yet - my time is limited since I'm trying to get acclimated, moved and employed. It doesn't help that my NY friends are all calling frequently to say how much they hate me (because I'm not there freezing with the rest of them).

Would you like to meet on Saturday say around 1pm at Schakolad (a chocolate/coffee joint) on Central and 4th St S in St. Petersburg? From there we can go to the Pier or over to Coffee Pot Blvd.
Schakolad is in the Snell Arcade Building, 401 Central Avenue.
