We love viewing and sharing photos, join us here at Tales from Toytown and share your wonderful photos with us!

This group is for all photos from Munich, you can post as many photos as you like as long as the photos were taken in Munich. People, Architecture, Landscapes, Wildlife, Streets, Signs, Candids, Festivals... all are welcome!



The name “Toytown Munich” comes from the observation that Munich is not a real town. Real towns have litter, crime, visible poverty, heroin addicts lurking at the railway station, vomit on the pavements, and so on. Munich has none of this. Munich is not real. It’s an ideological town where everything is perfect. The environment is clean, crime is very low, and the public transport runs on time to the second. Yes, the quality of life here is very high. In fact, Mercer Consulting rate Munich as the fifth best city in the world for quality of life. Hence the name “Toytown”.

We tend to invite the photos that we see which we love, however if you have other photos of Munich which we might not have seen, please feel free to post them as well! Also, please feel free to start your own topics.

Since this is a friendly unlimited posting public group, it would be fab if Tales from Toytown photographers would find the time to view and comment on photographs from the pool. It is always nice to receive constructive comments!
