About "Take My Breath Away"

Quite simply, images that your administrators and moderators find to be utterly beautiful! Things that make us gasp, and exclaim aloud!!

Subject matter is wide open. Use your own good judgment! Just keep your language (descriptions, titles, tags, everything) squeaky clean! There are youngsters about!

"Close-up" portraits will generally be the least-likely images added to the pool, whereas images depicting the shape of an entire human form are much more likely to be included. High-quality images of flora, fauna, landscapes, waterscapes, etc., are all very likely to be accepted.

Look through the pool. These are obviously images that literally "take our breath away"!! :) These are the types of images that you should consider submitting!

Images will be invited to be added to the group pool, and you may also submit images for inclusion.

If you'd like to join the group, please: click "Join This Group" up above, under the title. Write us a note, and an administrator will review your photostream and look for images that we'd like to have in the pool.

Once you submit any requested images, you'll then receive an invitation to join the group!

Invitations are extended only to those who actually submit images.

And once you've joined? Take a moment and comment on other images in the pool! Thank you!

This is not a "voyeur" or "showcase" group. It is participatory. In other words, you're not invited to join merely to view these images, but to contribute to the pool! Members who do not add to the growing body of work will probably quickly lose their membership status. :)

The admins/moderators of course reserve the right to respectfully and graciously decline any submission. We hope all of your photos make us gasp aloud! But alas, some will not! :( If your submission is not added to the pool, please, don't take it personally - and submit other images for consideration!

Speaking of Admins and Moderators: we do not add our own photos to the group pool. They must be invited by another Admin or Moderator. We think that's only fair. :)
