Take a walk in my shoes... is a campaign run by Women's Aid to raise awareness of domestic violence.
You can show your support by uploading a photo of shoes to this group. We're inviting you to dress your shoes, let your shoes tell a story, publish a poem to go alongside your shoes, or anything you like as long as it's shoe-themed!
Take a walk in someone else's shoes, and learn more about domestic violence:
- Domestic violence is very common. Listen to women's stories .
- Myths surrounding domestic violence still abound. We want people to move on from old perspectives and understand the realities of domestic violence
- Healthy relationships should involve mutual trust and respect. Walk in your partner's shoes to understand their needs in life.
