About Visual Taiwan before 1946,台灣一甲子前, 台灣文化論壇

進入新的一年我想加上一些台灣文化的討論。台灣是一個世界上非常特殊的地方，無論是今天複雜的政治問題 顯現在無法成為聯合國一員的事實，或是台北街頭方便的就可以找到來自世界各地的特色飲食，尤其中國各地的飲食，台灣在世界的文化融合上是一個非常特殊的例子。
台灣的原住民文化，無論是平埔族或高山族，無疑的是台灣文化的起源。隨後而來的荷蘭 、漢人、日人、以及西班牙人、英國人、葡萄牙人又加入台灣新的血統與文化。台灣人相對的，或者早期就自行或被迫，弱化排拒外來文化的心態，有其歷史背景，突破這樣的心態，轉而 喜歡或不排斥外國文化，不自大的態度，使許多新的東西能夠融合成一個演進的動態的文化。這是今天台灣可愛之處。一九四六年之後進入台灣的中國文化是大家今日都看得到的，我們要繼續發掘屬於歷史卻必須讓未來的台灣人記得的也是讓台灣傲居世界焦點的那一部份文化成分 感謝一年來大家的努力新的一年讓大家多思考比較文化的問題也開放大家放一些對比式的現代照片來記錄台灣的文化演進
This group is for people to share their old photos of Taiwan , the land, the artifact ,the society, portraits and everything visual, and with a story if possible. Taiwan is unique in that this island , (including neighboring islands), had so many untold story . Let us look at what Taiwan was like before 1946 and compare these old images to what Taiwan is like today, might give the world a better idea about what Taiwan ought to be in the future. Feel with eyes instead of words or arguement . Taiwan , a place the world should not forget. I would also invite people all over the world who had been to Taiwan or own pictures of taiwan to share their photos.
今年是二零零六年，六十年也就是一甲子前的台灣，到底是什麼樣子，恐怕沒有多少人知道。今天許多人家裡或許仍然有一些六十年前的老東西，書信、相片、書畫、家具、用品等等，今天街上或許仍然有一些六十年前就在那邊的房子，有些活動社團也許六十年前到現在都有，一樣的活動，透過照片圖片，我們或許可以多保留一些舊時代台灣的印象。
前些日子，看到附近一間老的房子，一下子被圍起來，幾天就拆了，心中很是感傷。台灣人為了錢，什麼都可以賣了、拆了。看一下日本的京都，保持的多好。我只希望透過大家的鏡頭，多替昔日台灣，多留下一些記憶。
請大家看了之後，加入這一組。並開始利用這個園地，交換一下舊日的記憶。
