About The Youth of Flickr

Certified by The Youth of Flickr

This is a brand NEW group, to showcase the best work from Flickr's young photographers, and to share photography tips and advice. There will be a weekly contest where the top three entries will be displayed for a week on the front page of the group, as voted by the group members. As well as daily showcases based on different themes such as portraits or nature. The idea is to focus on the best of your work and on different themes as opposed to "comment the person above" or "chose three favourites" style threads. I hope you like it.

There will also be daily showcases with a limited number of entries, these will be on a different theme each day and will be kept open for one day.

A Few Basic Rules:
1. This a group for people aged up to and including 25 years of age. Anyone found or suspected of being over the age limit will be removed.

2. Be nice - comment and favourite members photos, and remember to give 'constructive' criticism. Abuse of members will not be tolerated.

3. There is a posting limit of 1 items a day, with idea being to post your favourite/best content and not to use the group as a massive photo dump.

4. Thread posting is allowed by members, however redundant threads (i.e. commenting threads) will be closed and removed at admin's and moderator's discretion. Please make sure all threads fall within Flickr's Community Guidelines and are considered "Safe".

5. Please do not re-post photos to the group pool, give everyone else a chance to be seen. Repeat offenders will be removed from the group and potentially banned.
