OCA TAoP seems difficult for ex-T189ers, not technically but due to the very different style of study. Repeating exercises we seemed to do in T189 seems tedious, and after the clear-cut structure we are used to, the vagueness of this Arts course is difficult. Without First Class, we may feel unsupported and alone. Although some detested the course and dropped out, others have grown to enjoy it. Eventually!

About T189 to OCA

A study group for former T189 students who are now taking OCA Photography courses.

In T189 we developed a style of learning and structure that some have found missing in our OCA experience and this group is intended to try and remedy that.

This is a place to chat about the course, about motivation and study techniques, about photography in general. We can also discuss blogging, learning log techniques, projects and assignments. Discussions are private to group members so we can say anything we like.

Anything's allowed except ganging up or flaming. Honest critique in the spirit of T189 is expected and encouraged.
