This is a group for all Open University students who studied T189: Digital photography: Creating and sharing better images which started in May 2008.

Now that the course has finished, we thought it might be a good idea to start a challenge thread - it's a good idea to get you out the door and using the camera if you've got a project in mind, as we had on the course.
Our Eighteenth Challenge was Happiness, as suggested by Bianconero UK, and was won by Andreas-Photography with her image The Light of Love is in her Eyes
Our Seventeenth Challenge was Birds, which was won by Susan j z with her image Robin in Strid Wood Shelter:
Our Sixteenth Challenge was Selective colour/colour popping, which was won for the third month in succession by Bianconero UK with his image Hit the Road, Jack
Our Fifteenth Challenge was Where you went on your Holiday, which was won by Bianconero UK with his image Haleakalā - House of the Sun
Our Fourteenth Challenge was Abstract, which was won by Bianconero UK with his image Wynn Las Vegas
Our Thirteenth Challenge was Animals, which was won by slmiddleton with her image Dartmoor Ponies - in fact, she had 2 images in the top 3.
Our Twelfth Challenge was Mono, which was won by libbymac with her image Don't
Our Eleventh Challenge was Flowers and there was a tie for 1st place; the joint winners were slmiddleton with her image Fields of Gold
and also Jen170 with her image Just One more
Our Tenth Challenge was Landscapes and the winner was Andreas-Photography with her image Evening Breeze
Our Ninth Challenge was Out and About and the winner was Stimpy Rah with her image Crunch
Our Eighth Challenge was Is is Spring Yet? and the winner was Andreas-photography with her image Spring colour in the wood crocus
Our Seventh Challenge was Love and Hate and the winner was libbymac with her image Love coffee, hate washing out the pot
Our Sixth Challenge was Winter and the winner was Scott Masterton with his image Emerging
Our Fifth Challenge was Christmas - past, present and future and the winner was Steve Hermitage with his image Reindeer caught in a drip!
Our Fourth Challenge was In the Kitchen, and the winner was psi~ with his image Spamhattan
Our third challenge was Long Exposure/Fireworks, and the winner was libbymac with her image Night Silhouette.
Our second challenge was Halloween or Samhain, and the winner was artdeco2 with her image Glow in the Dark!
The first challenge, mid-October 2008, was AUTUMN, and the winner was Scott Masterton with his image "Falling Down".
