About Sydney Design

This is the official Flickr group for Sydney Design; Sydney's annual design festival produced by the Powerhouse Museum and presented with its many partners in design. Sydney Design 2010, on from 31st July-15th August, is a two-week celebration of excellence in home-grown and international design, and marks the festival's fourteenth year.

Design shapes, informs and transforms almost every aspect of our lives. Sydney Design explores how through an extensive cultural program that includes local and international speakers, exhibitions, tours, markets, films and other special events presented at venues throughout the city. The full SD2010 program is now available.

As a member of this group, we encourage you to share your everyday experiences of design, and of the festival itself in August. We will also be feeding images from this group into a gallery on the official SD2010 website, and possibly in the museum, during the festival, therefore by adding your images to this group you are allowing the Powerhouse Museum to show your pics in this way.
