if the seller has more green & blue filters available would you mind posting a link to their ebay listing. I'd be curious to check those filters out too. I don't think you'll get proper TZ colors because the entire image will be tinted green or blue - might make for gorgeous images though.
I use a "regular" ND filter and tried a "chocolate" filter the other day.

i've done it and it's not what you hope it might be. like anniebee says, it just tints your entire image green or blue, nothing close to those time zero colors. imagine shooting a green or blue filter over normal color film. same concept.

I've used various blue filters to try and make bog standard 600 look a bit more like time zero.... It doesn't really, but that doesn't mean it's not nice in its own way...
Por ejemple.

Edit ~~~~~
I find 779 has a tendency to nicer and cleaner blues and greens than 600. I know people say they're the same but you can't argue with personal experience...

779 seems to still be cheaper in the UK when I look for it. Except for the ASDA special 600 (when they have it).
Apparently 779 slides are just taken from the centre (i.e. best) bit of the production run and the 600 are the edges (where more errors might creep in. But I don't know how true that is...
But absolutely - I think 779 is better.

so i assume then that 779 works in all sx-70 cams.. as you would use it just like 600 film?

yep 779 is just like 600 but apparently meant to be better quality controlled during production though.

This is probably going to sound really thick, but where does ASDA usually stash the 600 film? I've looking for it before but not found it in the one up in Newcastle, but I'm down south for a few weeks so it might be worth a go... I've been buying Boots up lately, but if ASDA's cheaper, then that would be, you know, better ;-)
I also need to find 779 somewhere and have a play before it's all gone.

Cowgirl. In my local Asdas (Cornwall) if they have it, it's in the printer cartridge, CDRs and USB area. Kinda techology section. In one of them this is also where they keep disposable Polaroid cameras and stuff too...
But they haven't had any for about a month and only small supplies when they do... Shame.
Try Calumet for 779.

yeah, its def not going to give you Time Zero results. this particular filter will cast a blue hue on the whole image... its kind a wierd one, the more sunlight, the lighter the blue, in shadows it starts turning green and then indoor lighting (yellow) it goes to a deep green.
best result i've gotten TRYING to give 600 a TZ feel is using a daylight to tungsten ND filter with a light blue filter... comes out a LOT like ATZ... but then obviously you can't manipulate it, but the results are cool.
Also I've made a custom printed filter that has yellow streaks/areas in certain spots... using this with the blue filter has given me some shots that would be closer to the original expired Time Zero.
anyways....
yet i still buy Time-zero off ebay:) you can't beat the real thing but filters can be fun
all these bluish green polas are with this filter:
