31 Jul 10 - I have watched this group grow into a collectively diverse group of photographers with a common interest.This group shows the talent that Pittsburghers with a camera possess.The group has shown me many new places to visit, many interesting things I would have never seen, and a bit of each of our personalities.To me that is what the camera lens is,our external eye to our internal being.Thanks to each of you for making this the active group that it is!

About Pittsburgh Pics

This group is for novice, expert, learning.....any photographers who would like to get their work out for viewing. This group is for photo's taken in the Southwestern PA / Pittsburgh & surrounding areas only (Please keep photos from places within 3 hrs drive of Pittsburgh). Note... mass additions may be edited. Try to make sure the pic is able to be identified as being from Pittsburgh. A brief description of where the photo was taken is mandatory for photo's without any identifiable Pittsburgh landmarks. (portraits...etc with no background/Pittsburgh landmarks may be removed.) Please be kind when you offer a critique. Being a novice it is important to hear words of encouragement when you are learning. Photo's must be safe for all ages. No nudity, pornography or profanity allowed. All photo's containing any will be removed from the group pool.
