About Swinley Forest Simple group about Swinley Forest. Sometimes commonly known as Bracknell Forest though that is the area rather than the forest itself. Managed by The Crown Estate, it's an area of Windsor Forest in South East England, situated between Bracknell and Bagshot, and south-west of Windsor Great park. Popular with walkers and cyclists (permits required), the forest includes family areas, a discovery centre (aka The Look Out), Go-Ape high wire adventure area, and away from the crowds, extensive trails and tracks, including one of the largest areas of mountain bike trails in the South East of England (if you can find them, the place is so vast!).
