NEW SWAP::: spring fete::: sign-ups CLOSED

theme:
"spring fete" , which means "spring party" in french. ideas include but not limited to: sweet darling party frocks, spring bonnets, blooming gardens, birds, bees, butterflies, flowers, outdoor tea parties, cakes, pasteries, soft pastel colors (no dark/bright colors, pls keep everything in the pastel palette), etc. starting to get the idea?
sign-ups:
SWAP NOW CLOSED.
now until march 15, 2010 or when 20 participants max is reached, whichever comes first.
in-my-hands- deadline:
MAY 1, 2010. this is FIRM, no tardies will be accepted. pls. kindly respect this deadline. pls. also enclose $5 & self-addressed large shipping label for return mailing.
tag size:
standard LARGE sized shipping tags. these may be store-bought or handmade...but keep in mind if your DIY-ing your tags, that they are sturdy. you may use your fave embellisments and techniques...danglies & other chunky bits are highly encouraged!
# of tags:
TWO sets of 9 (nine) tags (the one extra set is for PIF copy to be raffled off at the end of swap using random.org's random number generator).
well, that's the scoop for now. if you are interested, pls. sign up in this thread only & then flickr mail me your full name, mailing & email addresses...so i can keep track & send group email from time to time.

hi all,
just a heads up...
if we get less than 6 people signed up by 3/15, then i sadly will have to scratch this swap. i really was hoping that others would join in, but i'm guessing, folks have better things to do???
i hope this won't be the case & we have lots of peeps play! but just letting you know if there is not much interest, the swap is going to be scrapped.

What could be a better thing to do? Tags are my favorites, even more than Itty Bitties.
I am in and I will understand if you end up having to scrap it, but I hope you don't have to. Maybe if it came down to that, we'd just each make two to make up for it?

thanks friends! i am trying to be optimistic & keeping my fingers crossed. i will mark you down michele & mahala. yeh, i was thinking that if we had at least 6 peeps, then we all could each do 2 sets, maybe 3 (if everyone was ok with that) & we'd still have a decent sized tag book.
i have these wicked cute dress stamps that i was planning to use...i hope that i can get a chance to use them for this swap!

yay! we have 7 signed up so far...woot! thank goodness bec. i really did not want to scratch this swap! spring is my fave season :0)
ok...if we don't get anymore takers, that's ok...7 is def manageable and we can all make 2 sets. 3 if all are groovy with that. lemme know when you get a chance!
i've been kinda afraid to check on the group the last couple of days bec. i didn't want to scrap this swap. now, thanks to YOU, i won't have to!! thank you!!!

ok, i think 2 sets will be make a decent-sized book with the 8 of us playing. great if we get a few more by 3/15. so everyone, pls. count on making 2 sets of tags...total # tba when i close sign-ups in a couple of days.
