Oh.... I don't know what to do. I love red (we're big UGA fans)! But I'm also due to have a baby on Sept 23rd. Bad timing, huh? :o) I think I'll be sitting this one out. But .... maybe I should think about it a little longer. What do y'all think? This is my first pregnancy so I don't know what to expect.

Citystreams: How you feel after will depend on how things go with the birth. Most of the time you'll feel pretty good within a week or two - the lack of sleep thing is just the worst part to get used to. However, I think a nice cute package right after your new baby girl arrives would be a nice perk - don't you? Think about it and see if you will be able to swing the shopping online or before she comes. . . and we know your husband can take care of the shipping ;)
I am also debating things. As I sit here waiting to open the package from you I am not sure if I should do the next one. I should be saving money since I am a SAHM now, but at the same time it was SO much fun.

citystreams, could you enlist a friend to help you out? You would probably have the first couple of weeks of September to purchase things specific to your swap buddy, and you could start buying things now that you think anyone might like. Your friend could be a back-up in case you have the baby early or need bed rest or something. :-) I think whomever gets your name would probably have fun putting together a fun package for a first-time mama and baby--I know I would!

citystreams, I am echoing what Bethany said. Enlist a friend to help out. Start shopping now and if you don't ship before you deliver your enlisted friend can make the post office trip for you. I'm also sure that your swap buddy would understand if their package was a little late due to your circumstance!! I wouldn't mind a late package and I would love the opportunity to put together a 'various shades of red' package for a new mama and baby!!

triple take - You need to click on the image and then click the "All Sizes" link above it. Once you do that you can select the size of the graphic you want to display on your blog and click on it. Below the photo will be a display of html that you can then copy and paste into your blog. Let me know if anything burps or doesn't work!
hockey7butterfly - ABSOLUTELY! We have several Canadians. If people don't want to ship internationally from the U.S. they state so. I even have Canadians asking to ship to Canadians only. No problem. I do the best I can with those that join each swap.
I never hear my accent. I sound like everyone around me. heh heh
citystreams - You've had a lot of good advice, so I'll just say we'd love to have you and we'll give you all the support you need.

OH, crap! Holley beat me to it. I was going to send a private e-mail asking OMSH to stick me with someone who has a little girl under two so I can send them something fall and fun and shades of red.
Citystreams, she does beautiful work. She taught me much of what I know.
But, of course, OMSH is the match-maker anyway. I have been inspired by the reds so maybe someone else has a little girl.

Oh wow - this has been a large and time-consuming matchup.
For those that have asked me to match them up with someone who has a little girl (there were two or three), I really can't go through and find out who has kiddos at what age.
If you have a preference for "who" to swap with, I'd be glad to consider it, but when it boils down to the bottom line I try to be as random as possible to be fair.
Okay, I have all the names matched up and will post them today. It'll take me a couple of days to get all the emails out! HA!
