About Color Me Happy Swaparooni - Swap Group!

THIS IS A COLOR/THEME SWAP GROUP

Each swap will be different. We might select from a couple of colors, trade a specific item, have a holiday trade, or whatever else we pick out.

It's all about learning about a new person and finding a few things that will really put a smile on her face.

SWAP GUIDELINES

1. You MUST BE at least 18 to participate.

2. All SWAPPERS must be members of this flickr group. All new swap sign-ups will be announced in the Discussions thread HERE as well as on my blog. To stay current, subscribe to the group's RSS feed or CHECK BACK regularly.

3. Once signed-up go here to post your likes/dislikes to help your swap buddies. Update it regularly - they are cleaned-out every few months.

4. Each swap has a minimum expenditure of $15.00 (not including shipping). You can spend more, but not less.

5. Once you have received your swap, please upload the photos to the group's photo pool. PLEASE DO NOT upload photos of what you sent until your swap buddie has received their swap - you'll ruin the surprise!

6. We are an international group. If you cannot ship internationally on occasion, this is not the group for you.

7. Late swappers (those who do not ship by the ship date) will be penalized by not being allowed to sign-up for the next swap.

8. Anyone who fails to follow through with their swap will be banned from the group.

9. Each swap requires a contribution of $1.00 to the Swapangel account. This account is used ONLY for those who did not receive swaps from their swap buddies. This is a PayPal account managed by the group administrator.

Payments can be made 2 ways:

a.) PayPal to: swaps@lostinsplendor.com (Please put your flickr username, your full name and which swap it applies to in your email). If you'd like to contribute $5.00 at a time - I'll record it on the group spreadsheet and apply it to the next 5 swaps you are involved in.

b.) via mail (flickrmail me for my address)

SWAP SCHEDULE

This schedule may be edited at any time so be sure to check back from time to time.

March/April
-- Sign up begins February 15th
-- Assignments given March 1st
-- Ship by April 1st.

May/June
-- Sign up begins April 15th
-- Assignments given May 1st
-- Ship by June 1st.

July/August
-- Sign up begins June 15th
-- Assignments given July 1st
-- Ship by August 1st.

September/October
-- Sign up begins August 15th
-- Assignments given September 1st
-- Ship by October 1st.

November/December
-- Sign up October 15th
-- Assignments given November 1st
-- Ship by December 1st

January/February
-- Sign up December 15th
-- Assignments given January 1st
-- Ship by February 1st

**If your swap has not been received by the sign-up date for the next swap (which is two weeks past the ship date), you cannot participate in the following swap.**

I WOULD STRONGLY ENCOURAGE at least having a Delivery Confirmation and a receipt so you can PROVE you shipped an item.
