About Swan Online Studio
Celebration:
In celebration of Swan Day 2010, women in the arts worldwide are invited to share in a global studio exchange on the theme of The San Jose, CA Alameda ArtWorks juried Swan Day art exhibit "Tenacity, Guts & Grace, Women in the Arts Who Inspire Us."

Communication:
The purpose of this gallery is to facilitate communication between women worldwide. To join in this exchange, download and transform submissions that inspire you, and transform the original work by adding your responses through words and imagery.
Illustration:
To illustrate the communication inspired by Swan Day, all transformations will be mapped in Flickr. On Swan weekend, March 27 and 28, all submissions will be printed in gray scale and assembled in a global mural at The Alameda Artworks, with ribbons connecting each exchange. The final mural will be uploaded to the Swan Online Studio for all to share.
