04 Jun 08 - I wanted to reiterate that the Heart and Soul folks have issued an invitation to a dinner in the grove out west of Georgetown to celebrate the art and writing that they have collected. Let's consider attending! It'll be on June 25. I added the invitation as a "photo."

What makes Sussex County, Delaware, special?

This group is intended to collect photos (and videos) for the University of Delaware Coastal Community Enhancement Initiative "Heart and Soul of Sussex" project.

Project organizers are collecting the thoughts of Sussex Countians -- through word, picture, essay and more -- about what makes Sussex County (Delaware) special.

As they put it:

Heart and soul is who we are. It’s the tangible -- people, places, events, etc. -- and the intangible -- spirit, attitude, beliefs -- that make Sussex a community.

Please post photos and videos that you will allow the Coastal Community Enhancement Initiative to make use of in their "Heart and Soul of Sussex" project.
