The SussednAble flickr group is here for sharing images that illustrate contributions to sustainable development and images that depict the unsustainable. The images can relate to the actions of individuals, businesses, governments or nature.
Search and/or upload images using the following tags:
a) Unsustainable - illustrating a product,service or practice that does NOT bring benefits for one or more of the following: people, profits/prosperity, planet and posterity.
b) Human wreckage - illustrating environmental damage caused by people.
c) Eco-bling - deployment of 'green technologies' that represent tokenism rather than tackling a more fundamental environmental problem e.g. photovoltaic panels on energy inefficient buildings.
d) Greenwash - images of misleading or irrelevant claims about allegedly positive environmental impacts/positive attributes of a product, service or some other aspect of life such as a political policy or speech.
e) Progress - images that demonstrate true progress towards sustainable development (gains for people, profits/prosperity, planet AND posterity).
f) Paradise - images that show something that is truly sustainable i.e. can carry on forever in support of humans and without damaging other species or the environment.
