This group is about sharing surf spots (Surf, Kite, windsurf) spots, locations, descriptions and recomendations.

Please join in and share your surf spots pictures and desciptions.

Trefulje is an amazing and quite large beach with dark sand, where the river with the same name meets the Cantabric ocean, surrounded by clifs and eucalyptus, near Navia village, in western Asturias. The track on the west hand of the beach upstairs is worth the visit as well, after 10’ you will find a little secret & magic beach surrounded by clifs which access looks tricky (beware not falling, as well as rocks falling while sunbathing).

Hygiene: *
It is supposed to be declared Natural reserve, however the lack of civic culture of my Spanish compatriots as well as the lack of responsibility from the town hall of Navia, reserves a little bit disgusting surprise in terms of hygiene.

Water: ?
It is said can be contaminated by Navia, it was clean when I visited the spot.

Security: **
Lifesaving service equipped.

Surf: ***
Nevertheless it is a magic place where surf can be excellent low and mid tide, with preference for southerly offshore winds, and sunsets are amazing. Not crowded at all.

Camping: ***
Good place to camp with the van, equipped with showers and chemical toilets.
