Please feel free to discuss/ comment about TERRC's plans. Also please feel free to share any pictures you may have of Able UK's TERRC facility at Graythorp Yard, or other work carried out by Able UK/ TERRC. Wether it's ships/ structures during removal, transit, arriving into Graythorp. Pictures of ships or marine structures whilst in service, before disposal will be appreciated. Or the yard from years gone by. Many Thanks,

About Supporters Of Able UK

Teesside Environmental Reclamation & Recycling Centre (TERRC), Graythorp Yard, Hartlepool.

This group has been set up to allow people who back Able UK's plans for safe and environmentally friendly scrapping and refurbishing of Ships & Marine structures at its Graythorp Yard on the outskirts of Hartlepool.

This facility will provide safe and environmental centre for scrapping of Ships and Marine structures. The benefits will also help the need for ships heading to other places in the world to be ran ashore onto a beach and scrapped. Thus TERRC will helping to protect the natural environment, with its dry dock facility to scrap ships and marine structures without causing pollution or harming the Natural Environment.

The plans when in full operation will give the local and regional economies of the North East of England a great boost. With loads of jobs and spin off jobs being created, with the current economic downturn.

So please join up and show your support to the safe and environmental friendly facility for dismatling Ships & Marine structures. Unlike the beaching of ships in third world countries, where dismantling is undertaken in dangerous conditions without any protection to staff welfare or the natural environment. Feel free to submit any images regarding ABLE UK's marine projects.

The main aim of this group was originally to act as an unofficial supporters group to show there was support for the project. Now with plans approved and scrapping well underway, this group is following events and progress of the work carried out and for news on future work.
