About Sugar Cane
Yeah, yeah, is there anything better than sugar? I mean, now everyone says it's not healthy, but come on, it's pretty tasty, isn't it? And hey, sugar cane is one of the most versatiles plants we've ever seen! From sugar cane you can have molasses, ethanol, sugar, of course... have you tried sugar cane juice? Or should I say nectar? Here in Brazil we call it Garapa, and that's the name of the multimedia journalism collective we've created: www.garapa.org. Check it out and help us find all the sugar cane we can have in the whole world. I'm sure this'll be the sweetest group ever... come on in!
