About Südostbahn
This is a simple Flickr group for interesting images of this particular railway and items related to it. In other words, photos should have SOB trains, stations, or equipment. Other trains *if on SOB rails* are also welcome.. The group is unofficial, non-commercial, and not affiliated to the railway administration or company.
The Südostbahn (Swiss South Eastern Railway) – commonly abbreviated to SOB – is a railway company and network in Switzerland.
The Südostbahn is a small private railway, i.e. jointly owned by the cantonal and federal governments as an Aktiengesellschaft (AG). At the end of 2001, the previous SOB merged with the Bodensee-Toggenburg-Bahn (BT) to form the Südostbahn (SOB).
If anyone reading this wants to add relevant images but does not want to join yet another Flickr group, just send me a message and I can post an invitation for a particular photo!
