Show your running gear – what brings out your marathon spirit?

Do you think you have the flashiest runners in town? Surprise your neighbours with your wicked retro tracksuit? Wear your hair like you’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards? Finish your run looking like you’ve just taken a shower? Whatever your style, we want to see it in action! Every week the best photo wins $100 GC to the Running Room

Here’s how to enter our “STYLE, SHOOT AND RUN!” photo contest:

1. Create a Flickr account if you don’t already have one (it’s free).

2. Join the Style, Shoot Run "group pool" & agree to the Rules & Regulations

3. High-Res photos only, please. Minimum 300dpi and 1536 x 2048 pixels.

4. Upload your photo by clicking on the “add photo” hyperlink (your photo will need to be stored on your Flickr profile)

5. Name your photo (we want to be able to refer to it when we talk about you)

6. Tag your photo via the “tag” feature in the right-hand side of your individual photo’s page (click on your photo’s thumbnail to get to its page). All entries must be tagged: StyleShootRunPhotoContest Scotiabank Calgary Marathon

7. Entries are limited to one photo per person per week, and must be submitted by each Sunday 11:59pm MST in the applicable judging week.

8. Weekly contests runs from March 7 – April 3, 2011. Winners will be picked: Mar 14, 21, 28 & Apr 4 (2011); and notified via the email you have connected to your Flickr account.

9. Photos will be judged by last year’s Calgary Marathon winner Ellie Greenwood, City TV’s Jill Belland, and a Calgary Marathon representative.

10. We’ll have our three awesome judges review the photos each week and if you’re that weeks' winner you’ll get $100 to spend at the Running Room & $50 to Jugo Juice!! We look forward to seeing your fab photos!
