16 Dec 08 - Let's start getting some interesting projects up. If you've got a new studio image that features interesting lighting let's see your shot AND your set up. Thanks, Kirk

About Studio Lighting On A Budget or Not.

The focus of this group is to talk about using various inexpensive lights in the studio as a way of learning about the nature of light. We talk about everything from flash meters and grids to discount hardware solutions for lighting problems. The discussion is not necessarily limited to inexpensive equipment. You want to talk about Broncolor and Profoto equipment? That's cool too. All kinds of Studio Equipment can be discussed as long as it is relevant to the majority of the audience. We encourage everyone to post one photo at a time and always give an explanation of how it was shot. And the equipment it was shot with. We'll even tackle the contradictory idea of Studio Lighting......on location.
No politics. No nudes. And no available light. Unless you've modified the light in some way. Thanks for joining up. Did I mention "no political discussion?"

Welcome! Kirk
