About Studio Art

This group's purpose is to showcase all forms of art which have been created preferably within the studio (portable, home or professional) or would be considered "studio quality"(sometimes you just don't have time to set-up a controlled environment but still get that great shot). Outdoor shots which have been 'arranged' (where you patiently sit and set-up your environment for that one great shot) are also valid. No pictures of pictures and no digital manipulation (only manipulation which would be available to traditional film processing...ie - exposure, colour, density, dodging and burning ect.). "Tasteful" or "Artsy" apply. Our main goal is to illustrate through traditional methods what a photographer is truly capable of without digital "trappings", there is enough of those groups. We'll try to not remove as many as possible, but if there is excessive digital componets in the shot or it is lacking in composition, then it will be taken down. Rememer, this group is to showcase what the photographers' eye can really do. And a final note, nudes are nice but not for this group. Risquee is ok, no nips or bits though.
