About Strobist Sundays

Welcome to Strobist Sundays! Strobist is a way of lighting a photo. Technically, strobist is to use off camera flash. However, in this group, you can use continuous lighting such as CFL's in a desklamp or a combination of the two. Please only submit your photos on Sundays and please include in the caption how you lit the photo. Check the rules, and you can also check photos in the pool for examples.

It's not required, but its highly encouraged to take the photo the week of the theme!

It's also encouraged, not required, to comment on others photos in the group, or fav them if you would rather not comment. I hate comment codes and icons, so there will be none of that.

Just in case you're too lazy to check the rules, cuz I know I am, here they are again:

Strobist Sundays Rules

1. Pictures must be lit by off-camera lighting. It doesn't have to be a strobe/flash (although if you've got the equipment it certainly should be) - it can be continuous lights, or even an on-camera flash as long as it was bounced. No direct flash allowed, period. Sure, sometimes direct flash used as fill can be great, but that's just not what this group is about.

2. Post how you lit the picture - for example, "strobist: 580exii camera left 1/8th power triggered via cactus v4", or if continuous lights, "lighting: daylight cfl desklamp through light tent"

3. Only post on Sundays. (Photos can be taken anytime and uploaded anytime, but only posted to this group on Sundays)

4. Only post 1 picture a week.

5. Only post a photo that is related to the weekly theme.

6. Add the tag "Strobist Sundays" to your photo. And optionally the theme the photo is related to. This will make it easy for folks to search.
