great to see some people have joined this group. I'll try to keep contacting interesting people who fit into this group and get them to join so we can establish a bit of a larger network.

In the meantime, I'd love to get to know you a bit: if you feel up to it, could you take a moment to reply to the "intro" thread in the discussion part of this group?

About Strobist Rhein-Main (Germany)

Welcome to the strobist group that caters to aficionados in the German region of Mainz, Wiesbaden, Frankfurt and beyond.

After looking for an existing group that allows strobist enthusiasts (off-camera flash, see here or here for more info) in my region to interact, and drawing a blank, I thought this might actually be a viable group.

So if you're interested in meetups, the exchange of ideas, location tips, learning about strobism, help or just simply a feeling of community and you're in or near the Rhein-Main region, this is the place! (Heck, even if you're "only" interested in what's going on here, go ahead, join up!)

If you're still confused about what strobist is or how to go about it, David Hobby's site is the way to go.
