I dont think the sample images compare very well.
Read the www.dpreview.com reviews and see how they compare similar subjects in test images.

I agree with you Steven. I have a lot of Sony stuff. It would be an expensive mess for me to switch, but I might consider doing so. I appreciate your response. THX
