¿Wireless Adapter for Konica Minolta Dimage 7?
 |
Tell me if this model of camera you can integrate some kind of adapter that makes the flash work with the wireless flash, or any parts that go into the Hot Shoe (hot shoe) and some with the Canon 430 EX.
So if you combine these pieces to the Flash (http://cgi.ebay.com/Minolta-Maxxum-3500xi-Flash_W0QQitemZ320384097231QQcmdZViewItemQQptZDigital_Camera_Flashes?hash=item4a98615bcf&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65% 3A12 | 66% 3A2 | 39% 3A1 | 72% 3A1199 | 240% 3A1318 | 301% 3A1 | 293% 3A1 | 294% 3A50)
And this Flash Trigger (http://cgi.ebay.com/Wireless-Flash-Trigger-PT-04-for-SONY-a900-a700-Minolta_W0QQitemZ260415642283QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCamera_Flash_Accessories?hash=item3ca1fb5aab&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65% 3A12 | 66% 3A2 | 39% 3A1 | 72% 3A1205 | 240% 3A1318 | 301% 3A1 | 293% 3A1 | 294% 3A50 # ebayphotohosting), my camera turns the flash in flash inalambrico.

That should work. Keep in mind that you'll be in full manual (camera & flash) - none of the camera metering is likely to work, or at least it doesn't with my Alpha with a similar setup. As an alternative, you may want to consider the CTR-301P units that are designed for the Minolta/Sony camera hotshoe (see eBay Item number: 220425829571). This doesn't include the adapter for the flash to mount to the receiver, but I've generally read better reviews of the CTR units than I have PT-04s, and I really love my CTR-301s.

SnapJack, that is the first trigger I have ever seen for the Minolta/ Sony hotshoe. I always wondered why no one made them. I changed out the hotshoe on my PT04-IS transmitter for one from an old Minolta flash and it works perfect. I have even thought about changing the shoes on the recievers to mount directly on my Minolta flashes.

Technically, those triggers are not for the Minolta/Sony shoe. They are standard triggers. The seller is simply bundling in adapters that you would normally buy separately. Those adapters have been around in one form or another for years.

Are you sure about that? It makes no mention of an adapter in the list of included items. If you are correct though then the ebay listing is very misleading. I have seen a few triggers bundled with the adapters, but the pics on the item number you listed make it seem as if the Sony shoe is actually part of the trigger.

If you use an adapter it could work, you might have some sync problems, it will probably won´t go over 1/60th.
BTW the is no adapter the only thing is that they used an minolta flash socket instead of the iso one in the emitter so you´ll still need a way to connect the receiver to the flash. The 5200 uses the minolta socket and not the iso one and the pc-sync cable is not really a standard one.
With the newer 5600D and an adapter doesn't work well it won't go pass 1/60th so you might have the same problem with the 5200.
Anyway, the adapters are a bit expensive so it would be easier to buy an old sb-24 and sell the 5200i
