18 Oct 07 - The name of the group is changed to "Street Artists by Name" to emphasise that this group is for posting fine street art where the name (or handle) of the creator is known. When I find the time I'll go through the pool and weed out those that do not meet this criteria. I know the pool is used by artists to post own work, if you do, please indicate so by tagging it "own work".

About Street Artists by NameThis pool is an attempt to create a gallery of fine street art (i.e. artworks stenciled, painted, sprayed, marked, posted, glued, etc. on to public spaces). The photograph should show the artwork to best possible effect. If you want to show street artists at work, or works in progress, there are other pools better suited for that. Please only submit photographs of artworks on display in a public space, not scanned original drawings or paintings, or other types of work (t-shirts, decorated objects, etc.). |
