Only quality Street Photography and Street Portrait .

Defining Street Photography might do injustice to it's free, liberated and completely non-uniform nature... However, as this group needs some rules, we will define Street Photography as a type of documentary photography that features subjects in candid situations within public places such as streets, parks, beaches, malls, political conventions, demonstration or protests, and other settings. It should rely heavily on capturing the decisive moment.

Street Portraiture is included under the general category of Street Photography – but it is its own sub-section. Therefore the two are not mutually exclusive.

Street Portraiture can be further categorized in two sections as well: posed versus candid. Although capturing posed Street Portraiture can capture strong images, the truly exceptional images are those which are captured candidly. Both types of Street Portrait photos are accepted in this group though preference is for candid, and if posed, it should not be too much posed....

Just to avoid any confusion, EVERYONE is welcome to join the group, however not all the photos which will be submitted will make it to the pool, as these will be SUBJECTIVELY selected and hand picked very drastically - please accept this selection process when you submit your photo !!

PS : no heavy and distractive signature please !
