About Stream of Consciousness

The idea here is basically to pretend that flickr itself has a stream of consciousness, but instead of words it uses photos. flickr's conscious, as it were, is really comprised of little snippets of all our own streams.

To achieve the continuous flow of sense‐perceptions, thoughts, feelings, and memories in flickr's meta-conscious, we'll play a variation on word association. The variant being--you guessed it--that we'll use photos instead of words, where everyone has a completely different vocabulary comprised of photos in their own stream.

While it'll be impossible to enforce a strict first-photo-you-think-of policy, the idea is that you'll look at the most recent photo and then post the first one--you're own of course--that you think about. The idea is a group where the pool's steam itself is as interesting an experience and experiment as the photos themselves.

The Rules:
Commenting is encouraged, but not required. By the very nature of the group you can post only one photo at a time. However you can post as many as you like as often as you like as long as there is at least one photo in between your own.
