About Stories You Can Tell in School
Tell a story in 3-5 frames. Your will have
-a character or characters
-a setting
-a plot sequence
-a clearly represented beginning and middle
-the end of the story may be optional, left for the viewer to conclude based upon the preceeding photos, or you may have a clear ending.
These stories will serve as writing projects for educators. Photos or stories that you post may be chosen by educators for downloading and use in classroom reading/writing activities. Stories may be suitable for students of elementary, middle, high school and adult education groups.
To avoid issues arising from privacy and concerns for the welfare of children, it is suggested that character subjects of the stories be INANIMATE OBJECTS, animals and pets, or adults ONLY.
Educators may be tempted to include children from their classes in their stories, but CHECK YOUR DISTRICT POLICIES REGARDING THE USE OF THESE IMAGES BEFORE SUBMITTING TO THIS SITE.
Stick to toys, trucks, trains, statues, cats, dogs, and others to create stories that will delight students and help them to develop a sense of visual story telling that they can then use in the writing process. Submit stories that you have created with your children, but not about the children. Make the stories far-ranging and alive with possibilities. The world is in your toy box. Use it.
