About Stokes State Forest

Stokes State Forest is a gem in Northwestern New Jersey. Dedicated to showcasing the (frequently underestimated) potential beauty of New Jersey, include some of your favorite photos of Stokes State Forest - Stony Lake, Kittle Field, Tillman Ravine Natural Area, Sunrise Mountain, Lake Ocquittunk, NJ School of Conservation, and the hiking trails throughout the area! (Note: Buttermilk Falls is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.)

Everything from macros to landscapes are welcome. If you are including photos in the group pool, please be sure to include within-the-park locations so that others may be inspired to visit the locations themselves. This might be harder for macros, but if you have information on good wildflower blooms (time and location), please do share. Most importantly, share your love and respect for Stokes State Forest with others so that future generations have the opportunity to enjoy it.
