About Stick Up Hong Kong: Stickers and Stencils in the City

Every city is a playground for street arts...

STICK UP, HONG KONG is a group for sticker lovers and artists to share their passion for creation and expression.

Hong Kong is the city of advertisements. Either they are in the form of sticker or memo poster on lampposts or walls, with various graphic designs, both contemporary and tradition, look as good as they get.

Meanwhile, some people just love to cover up every surface of their belongings with stickers, to express their various characters and styles.

Express yourself with something sticky, join STICK UP, HONG KONG now!

"A Sticker is a piece of paper, sticky on one side, and usually with some pattern on the other. They can come in many different shapes and sizes (usually colourful) and are put on things such as lunchboxes, in children's room, on paper, lockers notebooks and so on. Some people also choose to collect stickers and trade them with friends. Stickers were invented in the early 1900's by Kalub (Beaver) Apps."

"In some big cities, sticker posting is regarded as street arts."

"Another meaning of Sticker: 不屈不撓的人..."
