This group is Dedicated to Steve Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter), an Aussie who loved Australia very much.



This group was created on the 5th September 2006. The day after the passing of our "Aussie Legend".

There is no doubt that just about anyone in the world who loves or cares about wildlife or our environment would be familiar with the name of Steve Irwin and his work. Almost EVERYONE has seen him on the TV for sure. His name is associated with crocodiles (The Crocodile Hunter) and he is known for his Courage and Passsion for Wildlife and our Environment.

He was a bright character and loved by many. He touched the lives of many individuals including myself personally without even meeting us. His work has given birth to many Professionals who put their foot forward to help preserve nature and help wildlife in whatever way they could. He is an inspiration for millions of Nature-Lovers out there.

He was one of the worlds most loved environmentalists. A lot of people watched his shows featuring crocodiles because of him, not the crocodiles. This shows how much people cared for him and what he was doing for the wild.
