About Steampunk Fashion
Steampunk clothing, costumes and daily fashions.
NO accessories, jewelry and apparatus, there are two fabulous groups (Steampunk and Steampunk Gear) for that already.
GROUP RULES
1. This group is for steampunk and dieselpunk fashion, costumes and daily wear. All styles of steampunk and dieselpunk are more than welcome here.
2. Jewelry, accessessories and apparatus photos are NOT allowed. It is of course absolutely fine to have these things in the photo with you, but the photo should be focussing on your clothing.
Screenshots from games are also NOT allowed.
This is also NOT the place for advertisments. If you do want us to know about a steampunk or dieselpunk event, then start a topic in the groups discussions. Do NOT put it in the pool!
3. Be nice to each other. If you want to critique, then give only positive and constructive critism. No flamewars, rudeness and bitching at others.
4. No going "this isn't steampunk (enough)" at other people's photos. There's a very wide definition of the style, and some people's definition will differ from yours. Agree to disagree on that point.
5. While it is ok to show off different views (front, back, sides) of your outfit, it's really not necessary to put up the same view several times :P
Please limit every view to one photo.
(it is of course ok to have e.g. a full front view of an outfit and a close-up view of the front to focus on e.g. a shirt and pretty waistcoat better. The only thing that isn't allowed is several photos of the same view of an outfit that are [pretty much] the same).
6. Photos of garments on dress models are ok. I fully understand that it's not always easy to find a model to wear your creations for a photoshoot.
7. You can post pictures of other people in steampunk garb, providing you have taken those pictures or you have permission of the photographer and/or model (whomever's permission you need). No taking other people's stuff without their permission!
8. This is a group for all ages, please keep that in mind when you post photos.
9. Post CLEAR photos, nothing blurry or overly light or dark. We need to be able to see what's in the photograph properly.
And finally: photos not conform with the group rules will be deleted.
