About Steampunk Excellence (Invitation only)

Steampunk, essentially Victorian science fiction, has become quite popular these days. We would like to showcase the very best Steampunk costumes, ensembles and sartorial styles. To that end, photos will be invited into the pool.

* If you have a photo that you wish to be considered for entry, please add it to the invitation request thread. Please do not take it personally if your photo does not make it in. The standards are very high for qualification.

* Only photos that are excellent examples of steampunk couture will be invited however.

* Photos must be of a complete costume or outfit, not just a weapon or piece of jewelry. Also, there needs to be an element of science fiction as simply wearing Victorian clothing is not steampunk.

* Please submit photos that are of the steampunk genre. Just adding goggles doesn't make an outfit or photo steampunk.

* Since we are trying to focus on outfits, backgrounds and settings are irrelevant.

*Photos must not be blurry.

Let's show the very best of the genre and make this a great reference for steampunk costuming.
