About Staying connected!

Every year the Mental Health Foundation launches a campaign to get people talking about mental health. in 2010, we're focusing on loneliness.

Loneliness is something we can all experience when we feel isolated from others. It can be hard to admit we're lonely, but it is something many of us will experience at one time or another.

Staying connected
We can all develop ways to keep connected and lighten feelings of loneliness. From taking small steps like chatting to neighbours or joining an online network to bigger steps such as joining a local community group, sports or book club. Whatever feels right for you.

To raise awareness of the issue of loneliness, we're asking you to share your photos with us and others illustrating what you do to keep connected with others and look after your mental health.
