05 Jan 08 - The isolation of the Hawaiian islands out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean is perhaps one of the best places on the planet to view the stars above. Whether you using a telescope, a camera, or nothing at all; whether you're on the beach next to the water or high above the clouds atop Haleakala or Mauna Kea. Seeing it in person for yourself is absolutely breathtaking. Sharing here with everyone else is almost as nice. :)

About Stars Over Hawai'iAfter seeing some great shots of the stars over Hawai'i, and taking a few of my own from a recent trip to Maui, I was looking for a group to share them in. When I couldn't find out, I thought I'd create one. |
