24 Jan 12 - The Starfighter Telephone Game is a bastardization of the gradeschool game of the same name, sans starfighter. Build a starfighter. Mail it to the next player. The second player puts their spin on the design and mails it to the third player, and so on. Everyone ends up with someone else's MOC, fun is had by all, and the last player mails it back to the first. So far so good for round one, let's get this MOC back to Peter! Round Two is currently under construction...

About Starfighter Telephone Game

Starfighter Telephone Game

Round one is down to Dan and Carter, and has included some interesting evolutions, including drones and now a robot mode! The colors, cockpit, engines, wings, and weapons have all gone through some drastic changes, but you can still clearly follow the thread from one player to the next. We lost a couple of players early on and there was a moment when it looked like this was going to be a doomed experiment, but I'm thrilled with how it's going so far, thanks to all of the players.

Recruiting for Round two is just about finished, let me know if you'd like to be an alternate player if someone has to bow out. As soon as everyone is checked in, we can pick teams.

If there is interest, we can set up another game. We could use a starfighter, but we could use a hot rod too, or a tank, or a boxcar, or a sharecropper's cottage, this format could support just about any subject matter as long as there are dedicated players to make it happen!
