About St. Anthony of the Desert Orthodox Mission - Las Cruces, NM
Welcome to the Flickr Group for St. Anthony of the Desert Orthodox Mission in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Saint Anthony of the Desert Orthodox Mission is a mission of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the USA (UOCUSA), but they conduct all their worship in English and are seeking to develop as a pan-Orthodox Church....serving as a local worship point for people from a wide range of Orthodox traditions in and around the Las Cruces, NM area. The current membership consists of cradle and converts Orthodox people and they have a number of seekers and catechumens in process.
The Mission holds services in the Kendrick Chapel of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church on the corner of Hadley and Alameda St. near downtown Las Cruces. The service schedule is:
Sunday
8:30am - Third and Sixth Hours -
9:00am - Divine Liturgy -
Saturday
5:00pm - Great Vespers -
5:45pm - Sacrament of Repentance -
Eve of Feast
7:00pm - Vesperal Liturgy -
