About All Flickr Stakeholders

For all people with an interest in being certain that Flickr remains the service we know and love and isn't hurt now or in the future by corporate pressures. This is the place for people to discuss any concerns about the ownership of Flickr by Yahoo!, and also for those concerns to be answered by those in-the-know. This is also the place for the individual users of Flickr to organize so that we can respond to any changes, should we ever need to.

We ARE oriented toward discussing positive, constructive solutions and goals. We are NOT an anti-Yahoo! group. We do NOT have any one specific agenda except to generally keep Flickr from being compromised or hurt by corporate decisions now and in the future.

This is NOT the previous "Stakeholders United" group, which became too controversial and was too full of venom (yours truly being partially to blame). THIS "Stakeholders United" is a fresh start. Forget the concerns you may have had about the group before. We're starting clean, and let's all set our sights on being positive, working together--even where we disagree--and on rallying other Flickr members to join in and help make this THEIR group.

All people should feel comfortable being here and speaking freely.

Please join us, and invite your friends. It's a new day, and a fresh start.

The Photo Pool:
You can only post one photo at a time in the photo pool. The theme is "Inspired by Flickr" or, as Brendadada put it, "anything (you) think represents our beloved Flickr." You can delete your one photo and post a different one any time you like, but you may not have more than one photo in the pool at a time.
