02 Apr 07 - Hi folks, If you glance below you will see there have been a few changes made to the SSPC rules. This has been done after careful deliberation, to avoid the situation becoming over complicated. Hopefully there'll be just 1 new thread/week, plus any extra 'stuff' that 'comes up'. These new instructions should be easier to follow and if we all do it should run like clockwork (famous last words). Any probs - contact me or one of the Gestapo.

About SS Photo Challenge

About SS Photo Challenge
Welcome to the SS photo challenge group. This group was born when one of our number suggested a word around which we should all attempt to come up with a photograph. This was so enjoyed by all, that we repeated the idea the following week. The next stage came when another member created this group as a repository for these collected works.

How It Works
1. Check the ‘Discussions’ threads for current topic. (e.g. discussion titled ‘Word and Voting for 2nd April’ etc).

2. Post photos by midnight (GMT) Sunday (e.g. before the end of Sun 1st April) and ensure that you add them to this group.

3. Maximum of 3 photos.

4. Vote by midnight (GMT) Monday (e.g. before the end of Mon 2nd April) - copy a thumbnail of your favourite photo into that weeks ‘Discussion’ thread. Please add comments as to why you chose it and also post the following string:

Voted my favourite from <a href="http://www.flickr.com/groups/sspc/">SS Photo Challenge</a>

5. New topic - on Tuesday, everyone can check the last ‘Discussion’, and the photo that appears the most, wins!

6. In the event of a tie, the new topic will be chosen by the first winner to start a new ‘Discussion’. First come first served.

7. Post new topic ASAP please. If a new topic is not posted by midnight (GMT) Wednesday, then any other member is eligible to post the new topic (again, first come first served).

8. Photos from old challenges are to be deleted from the SS Photo Challenge Group by the poster of the new topic. So the prize for winning is to (unfortunately) do a bit of group administration.

9. If you want to discuss anything else, please start a new thread. (Please keep them to a minimum though).

How to add a thumbnail and/or link to the group

Participants
The group is open to all members of SS past and present, their families and friends, plus any other invited 'special guests'.

Please use our little group to further your imagination and hopefully stretch your creative prowess and please, by all means do urge anyone you know of that you think would enjoy our little 'challenges' to join up. The more who participate, the higher the standard is pushed.
