This group is for Sri Lankan photographers, including those living abroad. The term 'Sri Lankan' is not to be taken too literally since non-citizens domiciled in Sri Lanka as well as former Sri Lankan citizens domiciled overseas are welcome in here.

Unlike our sister group 'Sri Lankan Beauty', the subject matter DOES NOT have to be Sri Lankan, which again means Sri Lankan subjects are welcome as well :-)

The purpose of setting up this group was to create a forum to showcase the photographic talents of those shutter bugs from Sri Lanka who might now be clicking gems all around the world.

This group's photo pool would be moderated to maintain a higher quality standard and the posting limits would be set very low to prevent dumping of photos. Please don't take it personally if the photo you submitted to the group doesn't make it to the group pool. We seriously encourage members to post only one photo at a time such that no two photos of yours appear in the pool consecutively.
